Check before relying on it: The Town flyer lists free admission at 90 Harding Road and a Sept. 26 rain date. Check Town announcements before leaving if weather could affect the plan.

Monday, September 21

Greenwich Public Schools closed for Yom Kippur

Who it affects: GPS families arranging care, appointments, or a weekday plan after the weekend.

Check before relying on it: The district calendar lists schools closed. Check private-school, childcare, activity, library, and business schedules separately rather than extending the GPS closure to them.

Current traffic pattern · project remains active

North Street bridge: the full road closure ended, but workday disruption remains possible

Who it affects: North Street, Backcountry, school-route, appointment, and guest-drive planning.

Check before relying on it: The Town says North Street reopened Aug. 28. While bridge work continues, drivers should expect alternating one-way traffic and temporary workday disruptions as needed. Follow posted signs and directions from police or flaggers. Project completion is estimated for spring 2027, and construction schedules are weather-dependent.
